Name:Vice
Birthdate:Dec 5
Vice is one of the two protagonists from the indie game Fleshchild. Content warning for gore, as he is an alien who must murder and absorb the parts of humans in order to sustain himself and obtain an increasingly more convincing human form.

To summarize game-lore succinctly: Vice, Visi, Vis, and twelve other alien babies still developing in their polyps are stranded on Earth, unable to return home. Lacking in the means to create a spaceship here, their Mother has instead transformed a walled off part of what once was the old subway under a human city into an armored bunker, where the polyps can incubate and the little ones who have hatched can grow up safely. However, lacking in nutrients native to their homeworld, Vice and Visi are experiencing massive delays in growth, bouts of dizziness and weakness, and have thus had to venture to the surface in order to find food. And by taking the body parts of humans, they have found they can not only stabilize themselves, but grow stronger, finally free of the shakes, aches and pains of the past.

Currently Vice is trying to scope out a human brain for Vis, the smallest of the hatched three, so that Vis can have enough nutrients to start growing limbs like he and Visi have. How many people he and Visi have killed isn't 100% clear, but the confirmed death count is at least three people so far.

Despite the gore-heavy nature of canon, Vice, Visi and Vis aren't bad people, necessarily. They've just never been taught to act any different than the way they do, and their knowledge of humans is largely negative; humans killed many of the survivors from the initial spaceship crash, and often react with violence whenever they see the alien children. They're paranoid, their Mother is very definitely not doing okay from a mental health perspective, and for most of their existence they've been varying degrees of hungry and cold. Vice isn't inherently violent or evil - he just does what he needs to in order to survive in a world that actively wants him dead despite the fact that he's only a child.
